Snow thoughts

I am sitting here thinking about the snow we recently received. It’s funny how we all get the warm and fuzz’s about that stuff. It floats down in patterns that only the maker can do. He also came up with a plan that “NO 2” snow-flakes would be the same, or at least that is something I was told. They pile up on the ground evenly and leave everything white. So serene is this picture as we look out the windows at the snow.

Then the City truck comes by and shoves it all aside, the guy’s next door get their shovels and snowblowers out and start to move it into piles. The salt trucks are spreading their load. Pickup trucks with blades are cleaning the lots. Building support staff tossing salt onto the sidewalks. Employees are stepping awkwardly around the salt, so not to track it into the building.

I watch all this activity and think about how the maker lays down a carpet of white, and man shove it around and turns it into a multi-colored dirty product. It is has been changed and will disappear in the spring. I also am thinking about this 64 million dollar question. Do worms taste salty in the spring to robins?

Your thoughts are either brillant or scarey. You decide.
