Lightening strikes can cost money

Well Well Well:

Today was a nice day. My sister was down to see us, as she had a computer issue that I was able to fix for her. It appears she had a lightening strike and it took ou the modem. She had a surge protector protexting it, but the modem still went. Of course if you look at the bright spot, the rest of the computer was OK thus the cost of a new modem is minor compared to what it could be. I guess if you really want to protect that last item, you could unhook the phone line every time it was not used.


I promised her also that I send her a link to the family gravesites, but I found out after she left that I didn't save her email address. So I am placing the link here. Enjoy as I need to go clean out a trailer. I guess we will revolve furniture in and out for a while untill something better takes place. Maybe I need another bigger trailer.
