Man do I hurt:

Yes  I know that I planned to have a Blog daily, but I have been busy with projects. Today is the 1st where I can enjoy a little time off and do things that don't require a lot of physical labor.

Since I last published a note out here, we have had contractors in to fix a water issue in the basement. Not that we get a lot of water, bit we would get just enough to create a musty smell. Net is they worked for two days and we hope to have a dry basement year around. In fact we finally have the basement rooms all back together and the we all enjoyed a drink at Gordy's Bar.

Also we have been working on the pond as it required repairs. For some strange reason, both Mike and I decided that we would wait till it got HOT and the start to move rocks. After  days of moving tons of rock away form the pond edge, we laid a new liner, and then moved tons of rock back into place.  All we have left there is to rebuild the water fall, and then plug in the pump. Pictures will be forth coming but not today.

As we were moving all the rock back, we received a phone call that some hay was available for the 2 horses, thus we stopped one hot nasty job in exchange for another nasty hot job.  To this day, I can not figure out why I agreed to stop shoving rocks around and  go and get 150 bales of heavy hay.

Last of all, we finally tackled the second roof of the play house. Mike figured out  lift-system for his tractor and we were able to get it lifted high enough that with the assistance of Human power, Mike Ruth and I shoved it up and back onto it's proper support structure.

Today we are off to take the hay wagon back to the farmer. Mike stated he is off to see a friend tonight, so Ruth and I will take the day to catch up on other things around the country side.  IN fact we are going to look for a golf cart, as we are to old to walk anymore (grin)
