From Cradle to Grave and why it should change.

Hi all:

Been slow at updating this as we have been traveling again. We are back in our old stomping grounds (Wisconsin) as it is getting close to Thanksgiving and we received a request to make an appearance. In fact as soon as we walked in the door the littlest one shouted out to grandma that she was do make “Noodles and Lefsa” in that order. Not even a hello, just a request for those 2 items.

Kind of nice to see that grandmas and mothers can still make special items and they are still passed on in a tradition of caring within the holidays.

Anyway we went to the mall yesterday to locate a few items as they have some specialty stores that we like. As we walked the mall, I did my normal thing of locating a chair and parking myself until the women-folk reappeared. That’s when I noticed a lot of strollers being pushed through the mall. Everyone pushing their stroller looked to be in a hurry and bent on getting to their next purchase.

Finally we finished up with what we needed and started to head for the front entrance when Ruth pulled up to try on a goofy item that was to warm the sore shoulder and make all the pains go away. Of course they only wanted $200.00 to make the pain go away.

I stood by the wall guarding all our items and watching Ruth wear the ugliest thing I had ever seen. That’s when I saw something go by that leads into todays title. What I witness’s was a young mother pushing a stroller with her baby. Next to her was another older woman who if I was to guess was the grandmother. This woman was also pushing a adult wheelchair with an older woman yet in the wheel chair.

So if you go back to the title of today it should be changed. Instead of being “From Cradle to Grave”, it should be “From Stroller to Stroller.”
