Man it is cold

Ya I know:

I have been slow in this as of late, but I don't have as much time on my hands as I did when I had a real job. Of course that is a pun, or should I say a take-off from the girl in Des Moines who documented her different ways of not working at work.

Anyway I received an email from Sis-Mary about my little Blog about the ICE-SILO. Seems that they know this guy from way back and are close friends. One of the family has even been out there and attempted the climb. I guess it goes to say – Their ICE_CUBE doesn't go all the way up.

I have been wanting to tell everyone my thoughts about an ad that has been running in the local paper. The ad has run for over 2 weeks and it is for a meat packing plant in Illinois. I didn't think to much about it until it kept appearing in the for-hire feature. Then it dawned on me, they want to hire any illegal Mexican that were able to run away from the local IOWA roundup.

They must have figured they could transport our cheap labor over to their state. Of course someone should call them up and tell them that our local Mexicans are still hiding and more then likely will not surface until spring.

That is unless the Punxsutawney Phil says different. Besides most of those can't read English, nor do they want to venture out for a paper and get caught.

Of course with the weather we are having now, maybe that's not such a bad idea.

Maybe I can get a free ride to Mexico.
