Figured out how to make a million!!!!!

Some of ya may know that the state fair is running right now. Today's state paper had a picture on the front cover with a title about cleaning a cow from head to stern. You can only guess what end was facing you in the picture.

I shook my head and thought, "how in the world did that get by the editor".

Anyway, another article was about the number of people attending and what you can expect at the fair. Fairs are always known for their midway food and if it ain't deep fried and on a stick, you can't buy it there.

Things like popcorn, cotton candy, and hotdogs are staples at any fair. But the paper listed things like candy bars, pork-chops, and even cheese-cake on a stick. I'm sure they listed a lot more, but by then my mind was churning on two things. How do you get cheese cake to stay on a stick and how can I make money at this.

So I pondered those two things and never did figure out how you would keep cheese cake locked to a stick, but I did figure out the second.

Next year I'm going to the state fair, and I'm going to sell them-there sticks to all those vender's.

I gotta make a million on that one right?

PS: to my grandson. They have that Harry Potter guy at the fair and he's made out of butter. Sure wish you could take me down to see him.

On a final note,

I will make mention that Merv Griffin passed away this weekend. From what I read, he was a businessman and I guess he could take a look into the future, see something that he could make money at and act on it. He did well ever the years with 2 long running TV game shows and holdings in Hotels/casinos.

You come away with a feeling within each article that no-one out there held a grudge against him. so he must have been a great businessman.

I wonder what his grave stone will look like.

It may look like a big Jeopardy board with
Alex Trebek imposed on the side pointing to the line below. Vanna White and Pat Sajak will be looking in from the wings.

Lived from July 6th, 1925 to August 12, 2007 to tickle your brain!

Goodbye
