Well today is a better day then yesterday. The management team and I went back to our sons to feed the livestock and we didn't get stuck today. I guess 4-wheel drive does make a difference. It was about 35 degrees today, so walking around over there was enjoyable.
I did fake out the cats by tossing a shovel of snow into their water dish. It's heated so I knew the snow would melt, but have you ever watch a cat when something is wrong. They looked at the bowl and then they looked up at me, like “are you that stupid?” I just grinned back as I don't care much for cats anyway and I walked off on them. For once I had the upper hand by walking off. Of course I didn't have a tail in the air.
The management team watched everything I did to make sure it was done right. No mistakes were made except yesterday I forgot to give the horses something called sweet-feed. I corrected that today and it looked like they forgave me.
So today's major event was the little guy had his first big mistake in the house. I was in the bathroom reading the Readers-Digest that was handy. Everything was going along smoothly when the pup came in and took one look and tilted his head. Before I could say or do anything, his ears perked up as he thought, “OH this is the room it's suppose to happen, and he took a dump”. All the while, he was watching me.
I almost jumped up and shouted at him, but if I did right then, both of us would be in trouble if caught. Besides I would more then likely scared more crap out of him so why bother. Lucky for me, the floor is tiled, so it was easy to clean up.
So now I'm not sure if he was that stupid, or if he was smart enough to at least use the right room. I just hope he hasn't been in the bedroom at home and seen something going on that wold make her want to use a bedroom.
Anyway while surfing the net today, I spotted a topic that I just had to research. Its for a product for the truly lazy. Everyone has heard of Cheese in a can or whip-cream in a can. WELL NOW FOR THE REALLY LAZY YOU CAN GET PANCAKES IN A CAN. Yes right here in the US you can now purchase in your local grocery a can of pancakes. If you don't believe me, then click here and make sure you watch the video.
With Ruth gone right now, I think I'll head to town and see if I can locate it.
