Fargo wins again

What do you do in Fargo in the winter time?

Been over to our sons this morning as I am the keeper of the front door. They are having a king-bed delivered and I get to watch them manage it around multiple corners and up the stairs. So as the dogs and I wait, I started to read news on-line. That is when I found this article about Fargo -North Dakota.

I guess when it gets cold in that state they group up and call the Guinness World Records people. Then they pick out the stupid record of the day and go for it.

So know your thinking “What would I pick out?” if I lived in Fargo. As it turns out the record has some interesting stats behind it.

Here ya go with the stats:

  • If you divide the total number made (34,818) by the number of hours it took to sell you get 4352.25 per hour

  • If you divide the total number made by the average number taken then you get the number of people attending which is 11,606. I used 3 as the average.

  • If you divide the average ounces of stuff normally added to made product you get 8705 ounces or 272 32 ounce bottles of stuff.

Have you figured out what they made yet or better yet what you would do in Fargo during a snow storm. If not then I guess I have to tell ya.

They flew someone in from London during a North Dakota blizzard not to serve a “BLIZZARD” but to break the record on “Pancake” making and serving.

Yep -- More flapjacks then you care to eat, but more power to them. I hope they wear their winners belt for a long time as I'm sure it's kinda tight right now.
