Pass the Orange Juice please!
In the paper today I see OJ's trial is starting up this week. If you all remember, he claims he didn't go charging into a hotel room with guns blazing (drawn)and he didn't have two thugs with him to assist in taking back his STUFF. The only enjoyment I had reading this article was that they selected an all white jury and it's being held in a Las Vegas court room. This should keep the air-heads of Californy out of harms way. Maybe, just Maybe the glove will fit this time.
On another note, I saw a picture of a young women who was wearing a bra worth over 6.5 million dollars. It was fully studded with diamonds. That brings a whole new meaning to “lift and separate”.
Not only did it lift the twins, but it separated some fool from his money.
I have been working on the old Oliver tractor I purchased many years ago. It's a 1966 1850 Oliver with a first generation cab. It was a nice hardworking old tractor, but it has sat for roughly 10 or 11 years. We had to dig down a little to get the tractor pulled out of the shed., It had settled down about 4 inches into the shed floor.
Mike and I pulled it out and got it pulled around to the front of the chicken barn. From that point on I have been spraying a lot of WD40 on thing to loosen do-hickies up. In fact the speed throttle was rust tight and it took a few days just to get that to move. I doubt I will get it running this fall, but at least I have it out from behind everything and ready to be worked on. When I opened the gas cap,and looked down inside, I thought I was smelling diesel. The gas has sat for so long, it is dark and gummy inside the tank. I'm not sure yet how I'm going to clean it, but it will have to be done.
While working on it today, a guy stopped and asked about it, He didn't come right out and ask if it was for sale, but the longer we talked the higher the price it was going to be. He was a Oliver lover and I could tell right away he was feeling me out on a possible sale price. Unless the motor is frozen, it's not for sale.
I always liked the old machine and it helps me remember the old days of assisting in farming. Gramps last tractor he ever purchased was an Oliver. He didn't need it of course and he always stated he purchased it cause he hated to see his help hook and unhook tillage equipment. I thought about that foolish statement many time, when I used this one.
