What a wild ride!
HEH readers.
If your in the stock market I bet your holding your breath right now. After the drop of yesterday, and the rise today, I can only say that I'm worried.
Worried in that I may have to find a job if it keeps up. I sure hope the wife likes that job.
Anyway, I'm like the rest of you, watching and thinking. Thinking that I'm glad the bright people we elect turned it down. From my point of view, we are at the edge of a high cliff. But if we allow the government to spend that kind of money without fully understanding what they had in the bill, then we might as well jump of the cliff before we sign away our future.
Keep this in mind.
I picked this up while watching the news media that the bill did include some type of sanction on CEO parachutes but there was a "BUTT" in there.
The bill would only affect CEO's who are hired after the bill was passed. This means any CEO who put "WALL STREET" into this predicament still got his/her GOLDEN parachute.
Also it was released today that some Wall-Street big-wig had sent an email to a another that they sure hope they are retired and collecting their pension before this all broke. This tells you that both Wall-Street and the Government knew the crisis was pending and they did nothing. IN other words were was the government over-sight that we allready had in place?
So if you are a conspiracy theorist, then you have to ask yourself why this all broke just weeks before we elect a new President.
As you can tell I picked on both parties here cause I really do think it is ODD this came to a head right before an election. We are being told that the sky is falling and maybe it is. But I do believe we were running on empty for a long time and no quick 700 billion dollars was going to make it all go a way.
Net is, we need to stay focused and stop listening to all the talking heads that scream doom and let the banks sort things out themselves. Yes some people will get hurt and it may even be me, But I trust the US people more then I trust the US Government.
We will get thru this.

- Was this Bush's last push to shove something over on us?
- Was this Wall Street Lobbyist attempting to push something past Bush before he moves on?
- Are those bankers really that stupid?
- Is this the only way the Democrats can take control without the common people noticing that they have a dud as their choice?
- Is this the only way that the Democratic house can bring themselves to the forefront and act like they are saving us from doom?
