Just when you think you have heard it all

Again people can amaze you with how they save cost. I was having coffee today at the local shop and had perused the papers as always. For some reason as I flipped the pages, an article within a Dear Abby type of column caught my eye. Now mind you I don't read that crap normally, but it's Saturday and my agenda was open for the day.

Anyway the article was from someone who worked for a business that sends out tons of business mail. "like credit-card applications". What people are doing is trashing the junk mail, but keeping the envelope.

 Now you ask yourself why anyone would do this?

 I  just send all that crap back to them via that envelope just to waste their money, but here people are being smart. Instead people are using the little sticky labels and masking out the return address. They then  use the envelope for personal usage like pay their bills. What the person was warning everyone about was they also need to mask out the bar-code along the bottom of the envelope because that is what is really read within the postal system. 

Now why didn't I think of that and stop wasting money on stamps!
