Crashed
First big snow blew in last night and left behind it's normal crap in my driveway.
I did venture out into the stuff this morning to have coffee and then off to a dispatch. As I headed to the dispatch, I was questioning my sanity all the way. Crazy people speeding by and semi's slowed to 40mph. I was more worried that I would get rear-ended then anything else.
I finished the dispatch and headed for home. When I was about 10 miles from home, I went by a semi that was in the ditch. My first thought was "thank God he got far enough into the ditch to get the trailer off the freeway, but I was curious as to the angle he went in.
When I read the paper tonight I found out why!. The truck was heading North and ended up in the south bound ditch facing south. ( kinda)
This means he crossed over two lanes of white-out conditions and no one hit him. Reason he went off the road -- "heart attack"-- He died at the location.
